Vista Treatment Center employs individuals interested in creating positive change in youth in our therapeutic program. Vista is currently accepting resumes for the position of Mental Health Worker (MHW) also known as Direct Care Staff. An MHW is an adult mentor that empowers our adolescent clients during milieu times. MHW responsibilities include guiding adolescents to manage their daily activities, to learn positive life habits, and to build relationships. MHW skills include communication, role modeling, leadership, appropriate physical and emotional boundaries, self-initiative, willingness to be proactive, etc. Experience for those applying should include work with youth in a similar setting or a related field. Education for those applying should include a bachelor’s degree or some college in a relevant field. MHW work schedules include both Saturdays and Sundays in addition to weekdays.
